Pricing your work in naira

How to set rates that are fair to you and clear to clients.

Know your costs

Add up what it costs to do your work each month (data, power, software, equipment) and how many hours you can realistically bill. That gives you the minimum you can charge.

Price the result, not just the hours

For well-defined work, a fixed price for the deliverable is often clearer for clients than an hourly rate, and rewards you for working efficiently.

Remember the fee

Topplancer's service fee is taken when a payment is released to you, with VAT on the fee. See the pricing page for the current rate, and include it when you set your price.

Review your rates

As you complete projects and collect reviews, raise your rates for new clients. Tell existing clients in advance before changing theirs.
